Overview

Straight Bettin ("we", "our", or "us") provides sports research tools, educational content, and community links for NBA, WNBA, and MLB player props. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the third-party services involved when you use our products.

Straight Bettin is an independent research product. We are not affiliated with the NBA, WNBA, MLB, ESPN, teams, players, or sportsbooks unless we expressly say so.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Straight Bettin, we may collect:

• Account information: When you create or sign in to an account (Google, Apple, email, or similar), we receive identifiers such as your email address, name or display name, and authentication provider details. Account sign-in is handled by Clerk.
• Product preferences & local data: We store preferences in your browser (for example theme, games-bar sport filter, and certain tool settings such as pitcher projection inputs) using local storage so the site remembers your choices.
• Synced tool data: Some signed-in features (for example pitcher projection notes) may sync preferences or inputs to our backend so they follow your account across devices.
• Usage & analytics: We may collect anonymous or aggregated usage data (pages visited, performance metrics) via hosting/analytics providers to improve the product. We use Vercel Analytics on the website.
• Push notification tokens (app): If you use a Straight Bettin mobile app and enable push notifications, we may store a device token to send injury or product alerts. That token alone does not identify you as an individual.
• Communications: If you email or message us, we keep the content of that correspondence as needed to respond.

How We Use Information

• Provide and secure account access to research tools
• Remember preferences and sync signed-in tool settings
• Send occasional product updates related to Straight Bettin (you can stop marketing emails using unsubscribe links where provided, or by contacting us)
• Operate, debug, and improve the website and tools
• Comply with law and protect against abuse or fraud

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Payments

Paid community access (for example Discord upgrades) and similar purchases are processed by third-party platforms such as Whop and/or Stripe. We do not collect or store your full payment card details on Straight Bettin servers. Those processors handle payment information under their own privacy policies.

Third-Party Services

We use third parties to run the product. They process data as needed to provide their services:

• Clerk — authentication and user accounts (accounts.straightbettin.com)
• Vercel — website hosting and analytics
• Railway (and similar hosts) — APIs that power research tools
• Firebase / Expo (app) — push notification delivery where enabled
• Affiliate / partner platforms (for example Novig, ProphetX, Kalshi, and similar) — if you click partner links, those sites may collect data under their own policies
• Community platforms (Discord, Whop, YouTube, X) — governed by those platforms when you use them

Scoreboards, logos, and sports data shown in the product may be retrieved from third-party APIs or public sources. Those providers have their own terms and privacy practices.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage (and similar client-side storage) for theme preference, UI hints, sport filters, and tool settings. Authentication sessions are managed by Clerk using cookies or equivalent session mechanisms. You can clear site data in your browser settings; doing so may sign you out or reset preferences.

Data Retention

We retain account and synced product data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request account deletion by contacting us. Some logs and backups may persist for a limited period for security and operational reasons.

Data Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Straight Bettin is not intended for anyone under 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Your Choices

• You can use many public pages without signing in; research tools on the live site generally require an account.
• You can update or delete account details through your Clerk account controls where available.
• You can disable push notifications in your device settings.
• You can clear local storage / cookies in your browser.
• You can stop clicking affiliate links; those are optional.

International Users

We may process information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. If you use Straight Bettin from elsewhere, you consent to that processing as described in this policy, subject to applicable law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of Straight Bettin after changes means you accept the updated policy.
